“Canadians represent a significant demographic of Kampgrounds of America campers both in Canada and in the United States,” said Diane Eichler, senior vice president of marketing at KOA. “Co-operators shares our commitment to meeting the needs of outdoor enthusiasts.” She added that this partnership will empower more of those consumers with the ability to be confident as they spend more time outdoors.

The RV insurance product is designed to be affordable and dependable

Moreover, it isn’t just recreational vehicles that can be covered by the new policies.  The partnership is extending the coverage to other outdoor vehicle options such as campers, trailers, motorhomes and also dirt bikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and all terrain vehicles (ATVs).

The new RV insurance policy is available as a stand alone coverage for recreational vehicles or other aforementioned outdoor vehicles, or it can be applied as an extension of an existing home or auto policy.

Comprehensive coverage suite

By working together, Co-operators and KOA are aiming to provide consumers with a comprehensive recreational vehicle coverage product suite, which will be easy to shop for online.

“We are thrilled to embark on this exciting partnership with Kampgrounds of America,” said Co-operators vice president of strategic initiatives George Hardy.  He added that the coverage will provide outdoor enthusiasts with financial security. “This relationship marks not only a significant milestone in Co-operators’ strategic vision for recreation vehicles, but also demonstrates our commitment to providing comprehensive coverage tailored to the diverse needs of campers nationwide.”

Hardy said that through the collaboration, the two companies will be working to provide campers and others enjoying the camping experience with peace of mind.
